you paid for. It may not be "Sunoco 94," but something else. Also, the octane ratings on the gas pumps don't always match the octane in the tank. They try their best. But if you are filling up with 89, you might be getting 88 or 90 or some variant. It's not them intentionally trying to not give you the correct octane, it's the nature of the gasoline & the systems. Who knows, you might be getting 96 while filling up with 94.
